As the game slowly progresses, it's hard not to marvel at its stunning beauty and scale. Thankfully, there's a lengthy tutorial section explaining everything, before you're dumped in the wild. There is so much to see and do that it's overwhelming, especially for the first few hours. Crammed with mind-numbing number of branching storylines, even a seemingly simple choice can lead you down a totally different path. Though you'll have ample opportunities to fight, your choices of dialogue will determine the tone and pace of this game. Soon enough, however, his search takes him to the middle of a ravaged land, where there's no place for his kind. This adventure game follows Geralt of Rivia, a witcher, on his quest to find his ashen-haired daughter, Ciri. Even though you feel in control of the situation, thanks to its choice-driven gameplay, you're more than likely to make the wrong choice, no matter what you choose. It's entertaining, but at the same time, unflinchingly cruel.
